Are there any experts in the integration of Macs (OS 10.4.n) into a
Windows 2003 Server network with DFS (distributed file services?)
without the need for additional software such as DAVE.

head, Most suggest sticking to Apple Disc utilities & Hardware
maintainance menu on Original install DVD. As I do the suggestion was

Hi Kevin
It's possible and I've done it. You need enough free space on the
iMac to copy the entire DVD though, plus space to install it. This
may require you backing up docs and pics to the other computer first
if you need to free up space.
There may be other ways but this is what I did.

Yeah, I also picked up one at the 'special price' about 2 months ago.
At $1400 or so they're excellent value. I just put together an iDVD
of my Tassie holiday yesterday ... felt great to have all the extra
space.
Oh, and World of Warcraft still looks awesome [grins].

I have iLife on DVD which I want to load onto an older iMac. How
much trouble is it to break it up to put it on CDs? Or is this not
possible?

Explorer for OSX on 31 December and will remove the download from its site
on that date.
