160 GB HDD into a 1.25 powerbook any probs?

2007-11-26 Thread Brian Scott
Hi, I'm considering replacing the 80 GB HDD in my 1.25 Ghz allum. powerbook G4 with a 160 GB Samsung HDD. Has there been any bad reports/experiences such as over heating, strain on the cpu or whatever? Thanks Brian -- The WA Macintosh User Group Mailing List -- Archives -

New Macs?

2007-11-26 Thread Paul Weaver
Last Friday Myer were offering their Macs for ten percent off. Now Apple Oz have announced a one day online sale for 30 Nov. Apparently Apple have had recent discount sales in the US. Could all this generosity point to something new coming shortly? Thanks for suggestions on none starting iMac.
