Hardly Normals have advertised some WD 1T external drives for about
$300, which seems good value. However they only use USB 2.0 for
connection and dont have firewire. I checked on the WD website and
there is quite a range of these drives, some already mac formatted and

iinet offers Broadband 1 from the Bunbury exchange and from the
Gelorup exchange.
Check with Westnet.

I am compulsorily being moved to Bunbury for 6 months - I was
wondering what broadband (preferably ADSL 2+) is available? Will be
very close to bunbury hospital.
Can someone advise what modem I should purchase to go with iinet ADSL2
+ (not wirelesss because I have Airport)

I've just gone with the Billion 7404VGP-M. No problems so far.

Hi Chris
As has been montioned before, Firewire is the way to go if you're dealing in
anything large, or large content of files. USB2 will give you a headache,
and in some instances, crash or cause other problems.
Although the drives are cheap for the size, personally I always find you're
better
