HI All,
Was enquiring yesterday about purchase of a new iMac to replace my now
"dead" model. Told that there is limited supply right now and not to
order until next week and expect an announcement over this weekend.
Rumour is new Intel Quad Core chip to be offered.

I have downloaded NeoOffice 2.2.5 power PC and attempted to load it
on three G4 towers (OS 10.4) with the same result...it stalls at 1
minute to finish in the installer script.
I downloaded it again with the same result.
any ideas what it can be?

I am currently giving Disk Utility a go and comparing it alongside
Record Now. If it does the job and is a bit quicker, I'll stick with
it. I didn't realise it had that capability.
