Ronni sorted me out.
It was all in the case. My mother got rid of hers too and her
intermittent problems disappeared as well. We both use cases
specifically designed for 3G iPhones. So, *don't* buy an iSkin Revo.

is the transition type Random when watching a slide show in iLife 09
no longer supported.
