Thanks to James and Peter. I have checked the suggestions but my problem is not just the mouse losing connectivity, it is Bluetooth itself dropping out and showing as unavailable. Will see if future OS updates do anything towards resolving this problem. Regards John On 31/07/2009, at 8

Hi John, Had a feeling "the easy fix" would not last. A huge amount of people have had and are having this problem, especially with the MacBook. Some have found success in "the easy fix", some with resetting the PRAM, some by resetting the SMC. To reset the SMC: 1. Shutdown your Macbook 2.
