i'm using a non-apple trackball for 12 year on apple computers no
trouble so far
yes it's logitech stuff on top of it & no need to install special
programs/drivers

Thanks Ronni. It's got me beat as well, but I can put the improvement down to
no other cause than changing that setting, and the difference was immediately
noticeable.
I guess I could test it by switching the setting on and off, but since it's not
a problem, best I not spend the time.

a G5 1.8SP. Spin Doctor used to work capturing internet streamed
audio with Toast 9, from memory, but the latest version fails. I have
