Inbuilt speakers malfunction

Hi Folks We have an iMac intel running 10.5.8 which does not have sound through the inbuilt speakers. Earphones operate OK and the startup sound is OK. System Prefs>sound is not showing the inbuilt speakers, only headphones. I have tried plugging/unplugging the headphones several times from t

Hi Laura Sorry for delayed reply, but yes, as others have said, it's all handled through iTunes. Back up current model and then sync with new model and restore from the backup. Works well. And erasing previous model is fairly easy also. Got a few of the new ones sourced on backorder for clients
