iPad2 won't connect

Hi Pat, Does your iPad2 normally connect to the router? Have you tried turning the iPad2 off and on again, or turning on 'Airline mode' then turning it off again? Does your computer connect to the router via WiFi or via an ethernet cable? Tim On 07/12/2012, at 10:00 AM, Pat

Hi Alan, iStumbler is compatible with Mountain Lion. I prefer using 'System Information' to check my Signal / Noise. One method to calculate signal quality is to compute the Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR). SNR is the signal level (in dBm) minus the noise level (in dBm). Both of these values are

Hi Ronni Excellent clear explanation of SNR and how to get the data. I used System Information to get the data - values are expressed in dBm. My query about iStumbler compatibility was that their values are expressed as a percentage and therefore are of not much use. But two things: 1.

Hi Alan Sorry, I'm not too sure how you got to that conclusion. Nothing shady with the App at all. The data is taken locally from your locale as you wander around the house. The data is then stored locally on your computer. It doesn't go back to the App people at all. So there is no
