If iTunes still does not recognize your iPhone, I would recommend you 'Restore
your iPhone from Backup'. Make sure you have made a backup, so you can restore

Try a restart of the network gear (e.g. modem/routers/wireless etc) that you
may have.
This will then force everything to get a new IP address and may also just "kick
start" it back into action as well.
