Dismounted external WD My Book

Hello All iMac 10.6.8 Snow Leopard I was a bit sleepy and instead of dismounting a camera card, I dismounted my 4TB WD Hard Drive connected to Time Machine. - My Book icon disappeared from the desktop. I tried to access Time Machine to restore it but I get the message: "Your Time Machine backup
