As it turns out, we tried and tried and eventually it accepted the information
without the additional email addresses.
So all is good.

I had all sorts of Apple ID issues recently including a mis-typed email address
that I didn’t even notice when I did it but they were fixed by calling Apple
Support. They were very friendly & helpful & knowledgable to boot.

My brother has just got a new iPhone.
He’s forgotten his apple ID and when he goes to the “forgot apple ID” section
he has to put his name and email address in, which he does. He is then told
that’s not enough information and requests earlier emails. He swears he has
