Mailbox transfer

Good Morning to one and all As my iMac 27” late 2011, is getting on a bit, would there be any benefit in increasing the memory?? At present the Computer still holds the original 4GB of memory, there are two additional slots available for a further 4GB, just wondering. Kind Regards Tony Franci

Replacing the hard drive with a SSD I would definitely be a good idea if you want to extend the working life of the iMac. I think it would make more of a difference to speed than the RAM, but increasing that as well is still a good idea. Just depends on how long you intend to keep using it. Se
