I tend to agree Mike, I noticed that Epson have just released the 820
OSX ready printer.

On the Canon web site they say that an OSX driver for the BJC 3000 is
under review.
I contacted Canon Australia about a OSX driver for the BJC 3000 they
said unless they were contacted directly by lots of users requesting the
driver it is not going to happen.
