I use a Canon 9950F A4 flatbed. It scans 5 strips of 35mm film, each
containing 6 exposures, at a time. This takes about 6 min at 2400 ppi
(pixels per inch), or 20 min at 4800 ppi.
It can also scan 12 mounted 35mm slides at a time, taking about the same times.

First question one must ask is how important are said slides.
This relates directly to cost, how much do I have available and
actually willing to spend. Time becomes relevant also which reverts to
cost or personal time.
Once this budget of time and cost becomes clearer.

same problem a few years ago, I found the only answer (well the
cheapest) is to buy a very good Epson scanner which will handle slides
and prints, and allocate yourself hours and hours each week to
manually scan th
