I am running an event THIS Wednesday in Perth at ECU. It is an update on Apple technologies as well as a semi "literature review" of what folks are doing out there- heaps of case studies in tertiary ed (K-12 folks may gain something out of it too)

This seminar looks at the use of the cross platform standard, QuickTime, in the areas of video, streaming video, and virtual reality through case studies and demonstrations. The University of Western Australias' "iLecture" system will be examined as will case studies in Engineering research (ADFA), Statistics teaching (Univ of Qld), Chemistry education (Oxford) and streaming media in Medical education (Cornell) to name a few. Brief overviews of the various digital media tools for digital editing and DVD authoring will be given.
