Everyone and anyone,
PLC is considering a significant network upgrade in the near future.
Currently we have a very sophisticated CIsco network with about 4
dozen (ie. 48) CISCO Aironet 1231 series Wireless Access Points
servicing over 1000 laptop computers on an 802.11b/g network.
All are in as new condition with dual antennas - some only 12 months
old...
These are top commercial grade - not cheap consumer rubbish.
We also have a CISCO WLSE (Wireless LAN Solution Engine) which is the
intelligent box that can control all the WAPs (but isn't vital if your
setup isn't that sophisticated...)
I am looking for a school/organisation that might want to take all/
most of them off our hands for a reasonable price.
For reference, new CISCO 802.11n WAPs cost about $850+ each.
Make me an offer - our upgrade is likely to take place over Dec/Jan...
