Does anyone have experience with these units, in particular the
volume levels provided by the built in speaker?
My family gave one to Dad for father's day (along with a Nano) and
the volume from the speaker is only good enough if you hold it like a
telephone to your ear. Not quite what we expected, especially as Dad
has significant hearing loss.
Have found a 'Crest' brand external speaker for ~$14 at BigW that
does produce the volume required in a small package and not requiring
extra power but the question about the volume remains...
