Thats cool, I have 4 of the drives and they used to be in my NAS, I now have
2tb drives in there with raid 6 :) If you can afford a NAS I think that the
best way to go :)

The drive has USB also so that will work fine with your iMac :)

I have for sale an external 750gb HD with USB2/Esata interfaces.
It has had very little use as this was my backup drive, and I did backups to
this every 2 months.
Its in excellent condition
