I've received a couple of questions regarding DW3 and dual processor machines. The problem and solution are detailed below, courtesy of the maced list.

Begin forwarded message:

One quick word of warning about DW 3, any Dual Processor MD G4 will not
reboot correctly (this is an issue with the OS X System on the CD which was provided by Apple). The work around is to restart holding down the mouse
button until the CD ejects.

Dear All,

As my copy did arrive on Friday I thought I'd give it a bash.

PRO's

a) It will boot your Mac in 10.2.3.

b) It has a MacOS X version (3.0) and the MacOS Classic version on the
same disc.

c) It has a dead easy interface.

After running (it took about 1 hour on one computer - about 5 minutes
on another - so don't give up on it too early will you!) it found 173
errors more than the standard "Disk First Aid". After running the boot
up time seemed improved but maybe I was imagining this! At least it
seems to work without "doing something horrid".

CONS -

Missing - seems not to have MacOS X version of a Hard Drive Optimiser.
Maybe (ha!) MacOS X doesn't fragment!

Regards
