Not like Netflix at all then.
Where you pay a monthly fee and watch whatever is available without paying
again to rent it.
Might as well stay with Netflix !!

through the AppleTV+ subscription. Whereas the “normal” way was everyone’s
stuff,

This seems odd to me.
I have always been able to rent or buy Movies from iTunes.
Then I watch them on my TV via my Apple TV Gen 2.
It now looks like if I buy an Apple TV Gen 5 then subscribe to Apple TV+
I will be able to rent or buy Movies.
This is what I have done all along !
So what is differ
