Um, if res edit can't see it then it aint there.
On the subject though, there is a little utility called invisifile which I
find useful.
Try version tracker for it.

I think you can search for invisible files using Sherlock - just click on
more search options, and it may involve holding the option key down to get
the "if invisible" search if you're on an older version of the Mac OS.
If not, File Buddy works just fine on a G4 - Disk Warrior d
Sherlock can find invisible files. It can't do a lot with them, but
it can find them. Use the Custom button in the Sherlock window.

But can somebody tell us whether it has the capability to "find" invisible
files , please ?
(Ben has a problem that may relate to an invisible file. )
