I managed to get one today from Chuck at Macs-4-U here in Midland, so all
sorted! Now I have a 5 metre cable to hook up a Newton and an iBook that
less than a foot away from each other :D

ok...not sure which if either will help
two phonenet connectors with round 8 pin plugs and a load of phone line to
connect them or cable with round connection both ends that is 4 pin with a
small rectangle bit

I'm on the hunt for an old localtalk cable, the old round pin ones. After
