Here's a very nice little addition to Tiger's list of features. It
hasn't received much publicity and gets only a very brief mention on
Apple's list of features page, but I find incredibly useful and
something to show off to your XP-using mates.
When you define or change your password in your account information,
you will see a new button in the window, next to the "New Password"
field. Clicking this brings up the new Password Assistant. This
wonderful little tool gives you all sorts of advice on your password
choices. It suggests new ones for you based on various security
rules, and even passes judgement on the security level of your
existing password. Very useful little tool.
