Have you thought about storing offsite backups in a Bank Vault.
Probably safer and cheaper than other 'offsite' options.

If you have an alternative site to store it, you can also go with the
rotating disk approach - disk 1 at home, disk 2 offsite - and rotate them on
a weekly (or other) basis.
