At 9.2 there are issues with Toast4 and Disk Burner. These are fixed
with Toast 5. I think that what you have to do is disable the Disk
Burner extensions. That said Disk Burner burns a Hybrid CD anyway.

I've had great success with putting Sony CRX140E (ie 8x), CRX 160E (ie 12x),
and CRX1611E (ie 16x) drives in various beige G3, blue/white G3, and G4 Macs.
I've had no problems with software at all. Each Mac has even started up from a
system CD by holding down the C key

Any CDR gurus out there have any idea why I don't seem to be able to burn a
cross platform CD with Toast 4.2 on a G4 733/OS 9.2?
When I create the temporary partition and then attempt to drop it into the
mac data side of the disc the OK button is dimmed.
