G'Day Peta Had your problem with iPhoto on three machines using Apple Time Capsule and WD My Book (both 500GB). No problems with a Unitek SATA HDD Docking Station and Superduper, about $65 plus whatever size HD you use. www.engadget.com/2008/06/26/uniteks-sata-hdd-dock-throws-in-multicard-reader

Hi Peta, I highly recommend Western Digital External Firewire Drives. The SATA 3.5 1TB (as long as you have a Firewire 800 port) or the Western Digital 3.5 IDE 7200rpm Drives (Firewire 400 port) in a Sarotech HardBox enclosures. I've never had any of my drives fail. Send an email to
