I have a 20" iMac running 10.3.9 and on ADSL broadband.
I am downloading, via FTP, a large file that will take considerable time to finish. I want the display to go to sleep while this happens but my Mac doesn't want to do it. I am assuming the FTP access is preventing it because it has obliged in the past when the file transfer wasn't occurring.
I have done all the relevant things in the Energy Saver preferences. The only thing I'm able to do is run a screensaver.
Is there anything I'm missing? Thanks, Mike
