I wonder what it would take to set up. At Murdoch they have software for Mac
and PC available for download. Is it just software on the Mac? 'Cos with any
other network, they don't need to do anything at all to make it Mac
compatible, in my experience.

Not at the moment but moves are afoot to change this is the near future as I
understand it. As a mac user at Curtin I am looking forward to this too.
