Hello WAMUGers, "Safari 5.1.2 has been released, and if it sounds like just another minor update to put off, it’s not, it improves overall stability and resolves some of the annoying memory management issues that existed in the prior versions of the browser. Also fixed is the flashing page issue, and a problem with displaying PDF’s within web pages.
You can update through Software Update or download Safari 5.1.2 directly from Apple. <http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1070> Installing Safari 5.1.2 requires a reboot, and is available for Mac OS X Lion 10.7.2 and Snow Leopard 10.6.8.” Cheers, Ronni 17" MacBook Pro 2.3GHz Quad-Core i7 “Thunderbolt" 2.3GHz / 8GB / 750GB @ 7200rpm HD OS X 10.7.2 Lion Windows 7 Ultimate (under sufferance) -- The WA Macintosh User Group Mailing List -- Archives - <http://www.wamug.org.au/mailinglist/archives.shtml> Guidelines - <http://www.wamug.org.au/mailinglist/guidelines.shtml> Settings & Unsubscribe - <http://lists.wamug.org.au/listinfo/wamug.org.au-wamug>
