It seems to me that if the manufacturer says that a scanner will work on a Mac then there is a very good chance it will. I guess a good practice is not to accept goods which have been opened, lest some elf has helped themselves, or take a look in the box when purchasing to make sure the advertised

When dragged into Harvey Normans O'Connor store on the weekend I noticed they had a good range of specifications sheets for Cannon scanners. The CanoScan N676U mentions SYS X in classic mode. They also had a neat looking Epson 1250 suitable for Macs Sys 8.6 upwards. Most Mac compatible scanners on

PLE computers in Wangara price the Canon 1250U2F at $319. This scanner has a carrier for 35mm film only. I have an Epson 1640SU which has a variety of carriers for film and slides up to 5"x 4". Kevin Lock
