Hi, Thanks to Ronni, Bob and Peter for their replies. I tried both Ronni's - Perian and Bob's - Squared5 options. While both were able to make the audio audible on the iMac when it came to Toast, the audio could again not be found. I then tried Peter's WinX HD Video Converter and that worked s

Hi Matt, This problem is nearly always solved by going to perian.org and downloading/installing the appropriate version of the perian codec. You’ll need to do the encoding again from the start. Perian is not a program. It is a codec and it enables QuickTime (and therefore Toast) to decode th

Hi, I have a video file in .avi format, that I would like to burn to a dvd to play on my DVD player. I have Toast 11 and an iMac running 10.6.6. If I put the file, which is 1.3GB, into convert in Toast is shows, Video: Generic MPEG-4, 608-352, 25 fps, Audio: None. If I open it with VLC it play
