Hi Brett, How have you setup iCloud on your Mac and on all your Devices to sync using iCloud? On your Mac in System Preferences > iCloud you should have selected the same items as in iCloud settings on your iPad. To keep Contacts, Calendars, Bookmarks, & Notes in Sync with your Mac & iOS devic

Thanks Ronni, that worked a treat and I was able to connect the iPad without it updating the iPad with the current desktop iCal. May I ask how to update the desktop from the iPad rather than vica versa? It all seems designed to do it one way only... in the Advanced section of Info in the iTunes
