TIVO hasn't stopped commercial television in America. People with TiVo get measured (all their viewing info gets sent back to TiVo HQ and sold) and it delivers better metrics to advertisers than ever before. And by the way, if you think programming and commercials are poor in Perth, try living in

I think the level of creativity amongst commercial tv execs is poor (and that being nice!). The problem is this word - commerical. Commercial TV exists to sell products. More and more the 'sponsors' of programs are wanting to pay less and less to advertise. Down comes the price of advertising,
