So I guess I need to open the relevant photos in Imports or Recents to add
Titles ?

WOW !
That seems like a “catch 22” situation.
I use the titles to filter my Smart Folders.
So how can I do that if I can only enter a title once it is in the Smart Folder
?

I just noticed that all the Titles in Photos have gone since I upgraded to
macOS Catalina.
However they still appear in Smart Folders.
Any idea how to make them re-appear in Photos/Photos please ?
I have looked through Preferences and cannot see anything to change this.
