Perhaps you could try running the Traffic Meter with Cross-over, or a
similar emulation app :-)?

I've just connected to BigPond's Next G Wireless - my only option for
broadband. Has anyone on Wireless managed to find a convenient way of
accurately measuring network traffic? Most of the software is of
course for Windows, and the rest that I've come across doesn't seem
to accommodate
