The simplest solution and usually 100% is to create an IMAP email account either within your own LAN if possible. If not through your ISP and some have used .mac accounts also ozmac accounts I think are IMAP. Then once the IMAP account is in place utilising original email client transfer

Hi Folks! A colleague has just up graded from an old iMac (system 9.0.4) to a MacBook Pro (system 10.4.5). On the iMac he used eudora to access emails whereas with the MacBook Pro he will use mail. He has thousands of emails on the iMac and wants to transfer them to his new machine. So 't
