Problem solved - there is a Westpac iPad app in the Appstore, works fine and
uses iPad keyboard for login.

Hi Severin
If you just tap in the password field of the Westpac App the keyboard will come
up.
I bank with them and use it on the iPhone all the time. (Unless it's different
on the iPhone one and the iPad one).
Though, I could be using it a bit differently then, as the one I access on the

Hi Severin,
Are you using the Westpac banking app on the iPad? that does, I think, give

Yes, that is an easy option but I do like easy remembering of consistent
passwords, though that is probably bad from a security view. Stick to the
iMac for banking works too!

answer your question.
BUT

Those of you with Westpac accounts may be able to help here. How do I enter my
pw from an IPad? Onscreen is Westpac keypad and I need a shift to get
uppercase, normally On my iMac I use the keyboard shift key. This does not
work with the iPad, the keyboard does not come up to give me access.
