Guidelines -
When I use a zip disk in my wife's Windows 2000 computer it
invariably does not work when I put it back into either my Mac Lap
Top external zip drive or G4 zip drive.
I've tried zip disks that were formatted for Mac or Windows with
same effect. This also happens at work when I put
I've always told people to buy red (or other colour) Zip disks, that way when
they need to locate their Zip disk in a huge pile, it's easier to spot the red
one.
And the red ones go faster. ;-)

sorry paul, I don't have any answers, but if anyone knows a way to turn off
file sharing removable media - zip disks, microdrives, flash cards - all
theses things need to be erased quite regularly & it's a pain having to turn
file sharing off & back on all the time

pathnames at all
!! No need to read this if you're not into MacOS X 10.1 !!
There is a strange and annoying behaviour in MacOS X 10.1 when copying
files to a Zip Disk. To see it, open the Zip Disk or a folder inside it.
You must have a window open from the Zip Disk to see this happen.
