Hi Ken, We’ve seen this before after a firmware update didn’t complete or sometimes even a security update. First try booting and holding the power button until the light flashes. If that doesn’t fix it you may have hard drive errors (what I suspect since you’ve reinstaled Tiger). Try Diskwarrior
