Lyn Get the 3G model for the exra $100. Telstra, Optus and Vodafone all offer pre-paid Sims. No plans attached. Look at their options, and coverage, then get a sim card and only pay it up when you need it. Vodafone offer a card for around $1 posted to you, then you charge it when you need it.
