Anyway if the guys from Joondalup can help me by taking it up for me from the WAMUG meeting that would be great otherwise I'll be doing alot of driving.

I'm wondering if the guys from Apple Centre Joondalup will be at the
next meeting and if they would mind taking my iPod to be serviced for
me. It's kind of fair for me to drive considering I live in Booragoon.
I brought my iPod into the Abacus service centre about 3 or 4 weeks
ago. I was told they didn't have any Apple techies anymore which
didn't surprise me so I wasn't bothered. They said I needed to take it
to the Apple Centre Joondalup but the guy there was really helpful and
said he lives near there so he could drop it off for me if I wanted. I
left it with them for about 3 or 4 weeks before calling them to see
what's going on. I know servicing can sometimes take awhile but I like
to know what's going on and I miss my iPod when it's not around. When
I asked them how things were going they told me that the person who was
going to take it up for me was no-longer working for them and so they
had no way of getting it to Joondalup. So they basically left my iPod
lying around doing nothing for a month and didn't even bother to phone
me. I'm not incredibly happy about it because now I have to wait even
longer and they told me I have to pick it up from them in Perth then
Deliver it to Joondalup myself. I wonder how long they would have
waited to call me or if they even would have bothered calling me at all.
