Anything human beings do will include at least a little misuse. We still
have to press on and do the best we can to deal with problems. Middle
Eastern Muslim fanatics who are dedicated to killing people just because
they are Americans is a real, ongoing, widespread problem that we have
to cope with. If it's not a war in the classic sense of the word it is
still a major struggle that we must deal with. Free countries tend to be
a bit sloppy and do a lot of trial-and-error on the way toward
solutions.
