Hi All I am new to watir and I am trying to automate my website using ruby 1.8.6 and watir 1.6. I need help in handling Authentication windows on firefox browser.
Scenario 1: -------------- My website home page consists of number of partner links (say partner1, partner2 etc... ) when I click on "Partner1" link a NEW web page opens with a Authentication window that requires username and password. Authentication Window consists of OK and Cancel buttons also. Window Titlt in FF is "Authentication Required". Here I need to enter username and pwd in AUthentication window, click on OK button and then it displays partner specific home page. Scenario 2: ---------------- This is also related to handling Authentication pop up. when I try to Register to a specific Partner Authentication window displays in the SAME browser (not in new browser like scenario1). I need to handle this case also. Please provide me solution for this on FIreFOx browser as its recommended for my application. Also please provide me alternative solutions to handle Authentication windows if there is no workaround for this.
