I prefer watir over other libraries, but there are some clear advantages from Selenium. Watij and Watin are better for people using those languages regularly (java and .net respectively). I have to confess to having made two frameworks of keyword driven variety. I doubt that I would ever do it

I'm not sure how much current work has been done on Watin or Watij, it really all depends on what language you want to work in. Personally I prefer Ruby, but if your Developers are using .net or Java it might be easier to use something which has the same language so they can mentor you. Personal
