Added today fix for RAutomation. Please try gem install rautomation -v
0.6.1 to see if it's working for you too.

OK - reproduced it. There's something in rautomation 0.6.0 that is
causing issues with both items. If you go back to rautomation 0.5.1 it
should work for you. I'll let the rautomation developer know. Thanks

1.9.1 and 1.9.1.pre1 didn't have any code changes (just a unit test
change) so they should be identical. There was an update to
rautomation yesterday but activate seems to be there and working for
me.
I tried to reproduce both #1 and #2 but didn't see the errors you're
reporting and nothing change
