Very well said Darin. I agree with you 100% about the impact we can have on
other people's lives. Nobody made me laugh like Don Knotts. Laughter is
certainly good medicine.

Just when it seems things are bad enoughwe lose someone like Don
Knotts. Kind of takes the spring right outta your step. I join you all in
mourning the passing and rejoicing the life of such a terrific man. In my life

I have been reading the many notes written to the Digest as well as other
places on the net, in remembrance of Don Knotts. They have all been extremely
complementary and so true. What a legacy for any one man to leave behind
as he departs this earth!

I don't know if anyone has mentioned the fact that Don Knotts has been
one of the feature voice characters for Max Lucado's children's video's
Hermie and friends. We own the recent Christmas edition 2005 where he
and Tim Conway are the voices for the two main characters, who happen to
