I've been reading everyone's theories as to why Barney left Thelma Lou the way
he did. I just kinda thought that he was rather insecure about their
relationship (kinda like some of the episodes where he'd doubt his abilities to
capture someone on escape) and thought he might get his heart broke
I have to agree with Cheryl.
I think the "Barney's a scoundrel" line of discussion has had just about
all that can be said, said. So let's move along, please.

O.K., I think we've heard JUST ABOUT ENOUGH of that Barney/Thelma
Lou/Nettie triangle. Everybody go back to your homes and places of business.

Re: I don't think anyone minded that so much as they did the fact it seemed
to happen so quickly, almost within minutes of Barney's heartbreak, as if
he's supposed to heal that quickly and that abruptly.
He was putting on a face for appearances; Barney was really incredibly upset
at that moment.

In regard to Barney's quickly turning to another girl after learning of
Thelma Lou's marriage, I really feel that after showing how excited he would
be
to see her again and then seeming so disappointed when he thought she wouldn't
be there, he had shown how much he still cared for her. It wa

*** one minor point that has always bothered me about "Barney's
Replacement" episode is that, given a choice, why would Bob Rogers opt to be a
deputy when he was already a lawyer? Not very realistic. Yeah yeah, I know,
it's just television, but TAGS is real life, ain't it???***

Great job, Allan - this will be a great addition to the family of
Mayberry websites. WBMUTBB has lots of "trained noticers" that can
contribute and build the TAGS wikipedia. A couple of starter ideas I'd

I LOVE the idea of the Mayberry Gossip Club projects. But I was
wondering.do we have the capacity to also add favorite quotes from each
episode? For me, that would be one of the most valuable elements to include.
I know that for some episodes, there would be quite a few. And ALL episodes
