Julie Adams once told me that she was asked back for a 2nd episode, but her
schedule made her unavailable. On that basis, you can probably infer that it

My wife and I will be attending the Mayberry Festival in Mt. Airy NC
on September 22,23 24. I was wondering if any of my TAGS friends will
be there. It would be great to meet some of you in person. This is our
first time at the festival and we are very, very excited.

Good response from several folks about the lack of tea being related to
General Foods (Sanka Coffee) being a sponsor. Probably also explains why
the Ladies' Aid Society never had an afternoon tea or why there was no Tea
Room next to Floyds. You know, that might have made a good episode -

Great observation and question about the lack of ice(d) tea being served on
TAGS. I would lump that in with the question of why there was no basketball
played or referenced on TAGS, considering b?ball is a religion in North
Carolina. Maybe the sweet tea reference would have been too quaint or
I have a question about Mary the county nurse. Is the blond Mary supposed to
be a different nurse or a replacement for the first Mary? Since they are both
named Mary and Andy wanted to court them both, are they two different
charactors or supposed to be the same nurse?
