Tonight I sat down with my daughter and watched Jerry Lewis's movie "The Errand
Boy" on DVD. The most noticeable TAGS connection is the appearance of Howard
McNear. He plays a Floyd-like character (very funny!). But there's possibly

To my mind the most mentioned, therefore real, but unseen character was
Sarah, our beloved phone operator, friend to everyone and with a hand (or
ear) on the pulse of the whole town! Remember her mama falling down in the
bowling alley? I worried about her even though it was comical.
